Workshop Title: Innovating with Trust: Building Ethical Technologies for a Sustainable Future

Date: Thursday, 30 May 2024

In today's rapidly evolving innovation landscape, where technology permeates every aspect of our lives, it's crucial to prioritize ethical considerations when building innovative AI-enabled technologies.

During this session, we will explore strategies for fostering trust through transparency, accountability, and responsible decision-making in the development and deployment of technologies. We will emphasize the need for collaboration across diverse stakeholders, including industry leaders, policymakers, academics, and communities, to co-create frameworks that prioritize ethical principles and explore how embedding trust and ethics into the innovation process, organizations can enhance user confidence, mitigate risks, and foster long-term relationships with stakeholders.

Furthermore, during this presentation we will delve into practical approaches for addressing complex ethical dilemmas, such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the societal impact of emerging technologies and explore how embracing a holistic approach to innovation that prioritizes trust and ethics, we help us build a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable technological future.
